We ROTOTECH ENGINEERING SYSTEMS are a Turnkey Solution Provider of specialized systems based on Evaporation and Drying technologies. Established in 2015, we serve in the field of Waste Water Treatment, Vacuum Systems, Multiple Effect Evaporators (MEE) and Mechanical Vapor Recompression Evaporators (MVR).

For industrial wastewater, MEE/MVR Plants are installed to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD). Our systems convert wastewater into reusable condensate (TDS < 250 ppm), ensuring sustainability and cost-efficiency.

What is Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and how does it work?

Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) is a water treatment process that eliminates all liquid waste from industrial operations. At Rototech, we achieve ZLD using a combination of Multi-Effect Evaporators (MEE), MVR Evaporators and Agitated Thin Film Dryers (ATFD) — converting wastewater into reusable condensate and dry solids, ensuring not a single drop of effluent is discharged outside your plant premises.

What is the difference between MEE and MVR Evaporators?

A Multi-Effect Evaporator (MEE) uses steam as the primary heat source and generates vapor in one effect to heat the next, improving steam economy. An MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) Evaporator uses a mechanical compressor to recycle the generated vapor back as the heat source, reducing steam consumption by up to 90%. MVR systems have higher capital cost but significantly lower operating cost than MEE systems.

Our systems are custom-designed for each industry's specific effluent chemistry, volume, and ZLD compliance requirements.

What TDS level does your evaporator condensate achieve?

The condensate generated from our evaporators typically has a TDS of 250 ppm or less. This makes the treated condensate suitable for direct reuse in your process, boiler feed, or cooling tower make-up after minimal polishing treatment — significantly reducing fresh water consumption at your facility.

Do you provide turnkey installation and commissioning support?

Yes. Rototech Engineering Systems provides complete Turnkey EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solutions. We handle everything from initial feasibility study and basic engineering, to detailed design, fabrication in our in-house workshop, supply, installation, and commissioning at your site. We also provide post-commissioning technical support and performance guarantees.
