At Rototech, we achieve ZLD using a combination of Multi-Effect Evaporators (MEE), MVR Evaporators and Agitated Thin Film Dryers (ATFD) — converting wastewater into reusable condensate and dry solids, ensuring not a single drop of effluent is discharged outside your plant premises.
A Multi-Effect Evaporator (MEE) uses steam as the primary heat source and generates vapor in one effect to heat the next, improving steam economy. An MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) Evaporator uses a mechanical compressor to recycle the generated vapor back as the heat source, reducing steam consumption by up to 90%. MVR systems have higher capital cost but significantly lower operating cost than MEE systems.
