Oil Skimmer
Remove Oil & Grease from Water
Oil skimmers continuously remove floating oil, grease, and hydrocarbons from sumps, tanks, and effluent streams — improving water quality, protecting downstream equipment, and supporting reuse or discharge compliance.
Where It Works
ETP / CETP
Equalisation tanks, API separators, and oily water sumps in wastewater plants.
Coolant & Process Sumps
Machine shop coolant, rolling mill emulsions, and metalworking fluids.
Refinery & Petrochemical
Oily water drains, interceptors, and runoff collection pits.

Oil Skimmer Questions
Yes. Oil skimmers are widely used on coolant sumps and process tanks to continuously remove floating tramp oil and grease, helping extend coolant life and reducing load on downstream treatment.
Skimmers are most effective on free-floating oil layers. For strong emulsions, we recommend pretreatment (like chemical breaking, coalescers, or DAF) so the oil can separate and be skimmed efficiently.
Recovered oil is wiped/scraped into a collection tray or pipe and discharged into a drum or container. It can be reused where applicable or disposed as per your waste handling norms.
Share tank dimensions, access/mounting details, oil type (light/heavy), temperature, flow or turbulence, and expected oil loading. Based on these we recommend belt/drum/tube type and capacity.
Need oil removal for your sump or ETP?
Share your tank size, oil type, and flow — we will recommend the right oil skimmer and mounting option.
