Spin Flash Dryer
Rapid Pneumatic Drying
Rototech's Spin flash dryers convey and dry wet solids (filter cakes, centrifuge discharge, granules) in a stream of hot air — achieving dry powder in seconds with minimal footprint and very short product residence time.

Flash Dryer Questions
Flash dryers are ideal for wet filter cakes, centrifuge discharge, granules, and non-sticky pastes. They handle materials that can be easily dispersed into a hot air stream for instantaneous drying.
Flash drying is extremely rapid — the residence time is typically only 0.5 to 3 seconds. This makes it perfect for heat-sensitive materials as the moisture evaporates before the solid particles can overheat.
Standard units handle 10% to 60% initial moisture. For higher moisture or sticky feeds, we integrate a "back-mixing" system where dry product is mixed with raw feed to create a friable material suitable for flash drying.
Rototech systems can be powered by steam radiators, direct/indirect fired hot air generators (using gas, oil, or husk), or electrical heaters, depending on your site utility availability.
