MVR Evaporator
High-Efficiency ZLD System

Rototech's MVR evaporators use mechanical vapour recompression to recycle vapour energy — cutting steam consumption by up to 90% versus conventional multi-effect evaporation. Ideal for ZLD, RO reject, and high-volume wastewater treatment.

Where MVR Delivers Best

ZLD & RO Reject

Economically evaporate high-TDS RO reject and brine streams to achieve zero liquid discharge compliance.

Pharmaceutical Effluent

API wastewater with complex COD profiles — MVR handles high-strength streams with stable operation.

Chemical & Dyes

Concentration and volume reduction of dye bath effluent, salt recovery, and chemical plant wastewater.

Textile & Dyeing

Reduce ETP load by concentrating wash water before biological treatment or final disposal.

CETP & ETP

Modular MVR for industrial park ETPs handling mixed streams from multiple industries.

Distillery Spent Wash

High-organic spent wash concentration prior to ATFD or incineration for energy recovery.

MVR Evaporator Questions

An MVR evaporator typically consumes only 10–15 kWh of electricity per tonne of water evaporated, compared to 150–200 kg of steam in a single-effect evaporator. This represents an energy saving of 80–95%.

MVR is ideal for pharma, chemical, textile, distillery, and CETP operations where large volumes of wastewater need evaporation and the cost of steam is high.

Yes. Rototech designs MVR systems with forced circulation or scraped surface configurations for high-TDS or scaling-prone effluents. Anti-scaling MOC (Duplex, Titanium) and CIP provisions are included as standard.

We provide complete EPC: process design, P&ID, custom fabrication, electrical & instrumentation, civil liaison, erection & commissioning, operator training, and performance guarantee trials.
